Teacher Quotes
If you would've asked me years ago, I would never have guessed I would be dodging almonds being thrown at me while simultaneously asking students to NOT eat candles.
But, that is life and everything happens for a reason, right?
High schools are the coolest, weirdest, most impressionable young adults in the world. I love working with them, even when I question my own sanity.
I mean, I literally had to ask a teenage boy to stop throwing nuts. Nuts. As soon as the words left my mouth, I knew exactly what would happen. And, it did. Laughter ensued for a solid ten minutes while I shook my head in shame. I knew better, I really did, yet I couldn't stop myself.
Nuts. I said nuts to a class that had over 20 teenage boys in it. Shame. On. Me.
Now, I always find ways to laugh about the preposterous events that happen daily, the good stuff draws me in time after time because teaching is awesome.
