 Hello readers and Happy New Year!

I hope your year went well and that you're looking forward to the next!

Ah, the infamous "what's next" post. First, and most importantly, I want to say this:

THANK YOU!

I was humbled by the turnout for my next book, as it's been so long that I wasn't sure what to expect. Surely, I must have some of the most dedicated readers ever! Overall, the response to the next book has been very positive, so I hope you've enjoyed the next part of the Legends series!

So, what's next?

For those who play the game and pay close attention to my story, you already know what's next: Alex and Maxwell's greatest challenge is on the horizon as the night approaches...

Clearly, there will be another Legends book at some point!

I have a general story laid out for the next book and I can already say this will be the longest of all the Legends series and (hopefully) the most thrilling of them all! As for when I expect it to be released, it's much too early to even speculate.

For now, I'm planning on focusing on either revising the first few books or working on something entirely different!

"Revising the first few books?! But I like those!"

Don't worry, the core story will still be there, but it will be more vivid and detailed than ever! (Not to mention longer!) On top of that, I plan on bringing the quality of the cover art and illustrations up to par with Deep Jungle!

One thing I will be doing this month isn't particularly "good" news, but I feel it's only fair to you that I give you an explanation as to why.

This month, I'll unfortunately be raising the prices of the book slightly.

"What?! How much are they going to cost? Why are you doing this?!"

Again, don't worry! This was not a decision I made lightly and my main goal is making sure the books are still affordable for ALL my readers!

The plan is to have the main books cost $4.99 instead of the current $2.99.

Short stories like "Skeletons in the Deep" will change from $0.99 to $2.99.

Of course, one of the reasons for doing this is to help me out as an author. I currently do not write full-time, so the more money I receive from the books, the more time I can dedicate to them!

Additionally, eBooks on average cost $5-$19, so $4.99 is still affordable for most and on the lowest end!

I was against this increase for years until I decided that it might allow me to eventually write full-time for you, so I hope you understand that this was not an easy decision to make!

So, after some good and somewhat bad news, we find ourselves asking, what's next?

I'll be hard at work on my next project and will share more details as soon as I have them.

Remember, I plan on staying in contact with my readers much more frequently, whether I have exciting news or not!

Well, today's the day...

Terraria: Deep Jungle, the sixth book in the Legends series, is OUT NOW!

It's hard for me to believe the book is finally out and probably even harder for you! I'm humbled that many of you pre-ordered the book after waiting so long with no news or updates from me. Because of readers like you, I committed to monthly blog posts to help keep you in the loop with the book's progress and release date.

I had promised to release the book this year and met that goal! I've worked hard to make this next book worth the wait, but I'm sure I've fallen short in some ways. One thing is for sure, though; I have NO plans of making you wait that long again for information!

I plan on continuing to post updates to this blog and answering questions here and on my Goodreads author page!
