Hi, Goodreads readers. My new novel, MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, whose publication was delayed a year because of Covid, is finally being published on June 15, 2021 and is available for preorder. I look forward to answering whatever questions you have, and I'm available on Zoom or Skype to talk to your book group if you're discussing Morningside Heights.

Best,

“I’m always saying a mother never loses her peach pit instinct. Even with a grown son, you have to stop yourself from sticking out your hand when your child finishes a piece of fruit.”

“If fast-paced entertainment is not among the pleasures generally offered by the literary novel,
other pleasure often abound: a richness of language, a heart-breaking depiction of difficult emotions, and an exploration of interesting ideas.”

“Tell me all the things I'm going to forget."

Irene Thank you for the friend invite. I vaguely recall writing a review of Matrimony, but on a computer that crashed, and before I joined goodreads. I may have a copy somewhere in my files.

Look forward to reading your new book!

Serena Thanks for sending me your book and for allowing me to sponsor an international giveaway. I appreciate it.

Shelley Rosenfeld Hi, Joshua. Actually, I am in a Book Group, and we are discussing your book tonight 7:30-9:00 Eastern time. How would we do this?

Nicole Thank you for the book club offer! I am in a book club (though tend to do most reading separately from book club). We've never welcomed an author by phone or in person to book club, so that would be very cool. So, I will remember the offer. Thanks again. I really liked Matrimony, and look forward to your next book--I saw some discussion of it on Jewcy--and to reading your previous novel as well.

-Nicole

Leslie Hi There,
I do not belong to a book club, I just love to read! I enjoyed reading Matrimony and thought it was a very unique and interesting take on the turbulance that marriage can bring.

Best,

Leslie

MC I don't belong to a book group either (everyone in my last book group moved away), but also wanted to say that I really enjoyed Matrimony. What a pleasure to read such an authentic take on relationships. It was fun to read, so thanks for that. Take care... Melody
