After scarcely receiving her high school diploma, Erin unceremoniously opted out of convention, knowing she'd make a better student of life. She dipped her toe into the dirty water of Boston's art and filmmaking scene, where she could be found at wild artist loft parties, shmoozing with some of Boston's most prolific underground filmmakers and artists. It was fast and hard living; messy, beautiful, ragged, beatific.

Erin got serious when she secured a “real” job as an Assistant Editor at companies such as WGBH and Powderhouse Productions. This led to many prestigious opportunities, including an invitation from Avid Technology to speak at Boston SuperMeet, a huge networking event and trade show for the entire New England film industry.

Adeline oh god I need to shoot myself for my misuse of "you're" where it should be "your". I;ve been so frazzled with work lately. Yikes!

Adeline lol yep that must have been how I found you...you're high rating on Garp or something. I guess I'll forgive you for not reading The Magus, lol.

Adeline Thank you so much! I actually picked it myself and started introducing myself that way on the first day of college. It worked flawlessly. And it fits me much better!

Glad to see you loved The Magus. It's my favorite.

Cristina Hey Erin - hope you're well! I'm a little late to the Harry Potter craze (hype turns me off with books and movies, so I usually wait until it dies down to check them out). But I have been making my way through them and found the first 3 to be "just OK" - I enjoyed them, but I just didn't find them to be anything special (I'm pretty strict with my rating system - so when I give something 4 or 5 stars, it actually means something.) As for why I keep reading them...I've been told by friends, who know me well and whose opinions I trust, that the later books in the series are darker, have more substance, get deeper into the mythology, and are just generally more my style...so I'm giving it a shot. And they're a pretty easy and enjoyable read - so why not? Make sense? Have you read the series? Are you a fan?
