Karin Eger writes literary fiction that is easy to dive into — story-driven, character-led, and inspired by an urge to help change how we live together. Her protagonists are female, relatable, and in love with freedom. But of course, that relationship is always complicated.

Born and raised in Germany, Karin spent most of her life navigating the pressures of a highly competitive professional world before emigrating with her family to British Columbia, Canada. Letting go of the constant need to succeed gave her something unexpected: the freedom and time to do what she had always been burning to do. Write.
