Hey guys! Blythe and I are writing a holhart (Avery & Olivia from Paper Dolls) Christmas short as I type this.

I wanted to let you in on the news and say that we plan to get it out before Christmas so you guys can enjoy the crazy that is the little universe we've created but with a festive flair.

Brian and Jacob make an appearance as do some of the other favorites.

The ski trip changed everything. Avery and Olivia are in love and engaged but that’s just the beginning. The girls must navigate coming out, delving into each other’s secrets, and getting to know one another.

Following the events of book one, this installment in the series follows Avery and Olivia even further into their tale. Olivia knows about Ben but what is Avery keeping from her and how well can you really know someone you love after a few short weeks? The girls will be faced with these questions and more in Paper Dolls: Book Two.

We are in the process of our final edits and we're excited to bring you book two of the Paper Dolls series soon. I literally teared up reading the last little bit and I know you guys will see why when you get there.

We still need to finalize a cover and get everything ready but soooooon.

It's almost summer and I usually dread it. I'm not a fan of high temperatures or massive amounts of sunlight. (Insert vampire joke here)

This year is different. I know I have to put in a good bit of work on Paper Dolls 2 but I also plan to get my summer reading on. I have a list and have started the library trips. I'm the sort that would have more books than square feet in my apartment if I'm not careful so I have to be selective in the books I buy.

Now, for the update on Paper Dolls. I'm currently working on the middle of the edit and we have a goal of mid to late June. That all depends on if we can come up with a great cover idea and get all the details sorted.

I want to thank all of you for comments and likes. We have been getting some good feedback and I hope it continues. We love hearing from you.

Several people have asked about the progress of book 2. It's coming along I promise. My writing partner has done her initial edit and I'm doing mine as we speak it's going really well. I am so into this story all over again. I just hope you guys feel the same when you get the finished product.

Avery has a lot to sort out with her family as you would expect and so does Olivia. We are introducing a few new characters at the beginning of the book that I think you'll love.

One of my favorite things to see from authors is a playlist that they listened to while writing their books or one that they feel represents the book.

Music is such a mood setting. It is my daily joy and I go through a LOT of my data just using spotify. I'm a bit of an addict.

Hey guys! I'm so excited with the response to our first book. It's been great. We have gotten some good feedback and some excellent messages. Please, don't hesitate to ask questions or just drop me a line if you want to chat about queer books.

Now, for the good stuff. We are currently editing book two and making sure it's just how we want it to be before release. Book one was a lot of introduction to our characters and our world and book two will be a lot of action. It's in this book that you really get to know Avery and Olivia and even Ben.

I can't wait for you guys to be able to read it but I can't lie. I'm a little nervous to see what everyone thinks of the evolving story. We are covering some sensitive subjects but we did our best to do so with honesty and care.
