        The Love of Letting Go

Julia is still reeling from the disastrous end to her last relationship. She’s not sure if she can trust her own judgment and the nightmares she suffers from are just the beginning of her new normal.

Zach has been raising his daughter by himself since his wife was killed in a car accident fours years ago. He’s known Julia for months now and when he learns that she volunteers her time at a domestic violence shelter, his budding feelings for her become impossible to ignore.

Together, they struggle to come to terms with their growing feelings and the guilt and trepidation those new feelings carry. As the two take tentative steps toward intimacy, a threat looms at the domestic violence shelter when Julia steps in to protect a young mother and her infant son.

This blog is going to be all about my process in writing and publishing. I’ll update you on my status in current books and just things going on in my life. Since I’m just starting out as an author I’m going to document that journey here. So first things first.
My name is Emma, I’m 25 years old. I substitute teach in an elementary school while also working on my master’s degree in childhood education. Because I don’t have enough to do, I decided to start writing romance in my free time. Reading romance and escaping into another world and into the lives of other people has gotten me through some stressful times in my life.
