Cliff Ramos retired from a 41-year teaching and coaching career in 2015. He won nine state championships as the head wrestling coach at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, GA, and in 2010 was named the National Coach of the Year by the National High School Coaches Association.

His love for travel and writing, for so long on the back burner due to his teaching and demanding coaching career, are now on the frontlines. Up to now his writings have been limited to various sports related journals, but with retirement comes time for his secret desires to explore the land and to tell about it.
