Hello, I’m Amy!

I survive on a happy diet of historical and fantasy fiction and I particularly love a good Viking tale. My favourite authors are Bernard Cornwell, Giles Kristian, Robert Low, C.J. Sansom, and Patrick O’Brien. I live in Auckland, New Zealand, with my husband, three children, three dogs and 2 cats.

I promise you characters that will quickly feel like friends and villains that will make you wild, with plots that twist and turn to leave you wondering what’s coming around the corner. And, like me, hopefully, you’ll always end up a little surprised by how I weave everything together in the end!

Hello!

After finishing Vale of the Gods, I had an immediate urge to turn back the clock. As an author, it’s quite hard to kill off some of your characters. Some, you take pleasure in (we can probably agree on who those might be!), but others affect you (still do).
