Humble Beginnings
I wanted to share some tidbits about the start of my humble beginnings. I was going through old emails, and I found these email notifications from when my husband and I first created Rick Marshall’s character in late 2015. I do have some more copies elsewhere. I just need to look, but it’s nostalgic. And it shows how long I have been writing. Emily’s character was created a month before it. A teaser of Hudson's story
Havana is that you?” My heart skips a beat when a deep, commanding American voice calls out my name. I know who it is before I raise my eyes. Shivers run down my body when I face him. “Hudson,” I whisper his name. His brown eyes are brought out by the honey colour in them; warm me. We are about six meters apart, on the sidewalk of George Street, near the Event Cinemas. It feels like yesterday when we spent four glorious weeks together, and one night of bliss with him. That was eighteen months...
