I now appreciate the effort it took to climb Everest and was more than happy to lie in bed reading about it. I do not like the cold, but minus 30 degrees on the side of 29,000ft mountain is not my idea of fun. I appreciate it was a fictional account ...more

Loved the ideas and the way two separate situations evolved into one. Slightly disappointed with the ending, but then I like something complete and rational.

Some nice stories in the book, but some were a little predictable. Not a book I would go out of my way to get a copy of.

The final volume was a fitting end to the tale of Harry Clifton the man from humble beginnings to a sdaly common ending, albeit in better surroundings.
