Jamie has always loved a good story, whether real or imagined. He grew up in the south of England before moving to the north, where he worked as a history teacher. He still lives there with his wonderful family, but now spends his time writing, mainly about people hitting each other with swords.

Squad Games is Out Now!

Hi!

After a long time in development, I’m excited to announce that Squad Games is out now!

Most LitRPG heroes level up alone.

Lothar ‘Stiff’ Sauer has to level up an entire squad.

If you’ve played tactical RPGs like Battle Brothers, Wartales, Jagged Alliance etc, you’ll understand where this story is coming from. Otherwise, expect a gritty

“Memories of the past can play tricks on you. Sometimes, we remember the past as we wish it had been. Sometimes, we must confront it.”
Jamie Edmundson, Og-Grim-Dog: Ogre's End Game

“I often hear talk of saving the world. The world can be turned in various directions, often by an apparently insignificant action. It is hard to predict, standing from one point in time and looking ahead to another, whether the results will be good or bad. Usually, of course, they are a mixture: good for some and bad for others.”
Jamie Edmundson, Og-Grim-Dog and The War of the Dead

“There were no heroes or villains in that war. Just those who survived somehow, and those who didn’t.”
Jamie Edmundson, Og-Grim-Dog and The Dark Lord

Well chosen keywords? I haven't a clue. It's lost in the US, so maybe word of mouth in the UK. Last I checked it was sat at 102 in Fantasy, but that fluctuates. Having it in Unlimited certainly helps with being a newbie, and its priced low so people are more willing to take a chance. Thanks for the offer, Jamie. I may take you up on it. Good luck with yours and the marketing.

Your cover is fantastic. Sits in the genre but still stands out. Excellent work. Really pleased for you, Jamie. By the time it's released I'll be at the Beta stage - maybe further - with my second. Plenty of time free to read it.
I didn't think about any of that stuff with mine, but its doing ok without it. I have no doubt yours will be the success it deserves to be. I enjoyed what I've read so far.

Jamie Edmundson Hi, thanks. I've just set it up as an ebook on pre-order:

Next move will be to try to get some reviews/ do some marketing.

S.J. Hosken Congratulations, Jamie. I look forward to seeing it published. Will it be available as an e-book?
