After dropping out of pre-med, Nicole Cheng found their true passion for writing. As an English major, and with a BA degree in English, Cheng went on to reading novels by their favorite authors as well as writing their poetry, short stories, and even novels of their own. The main themes in their books focus on certain societal issues, the Asian-American community, and the LGBTQ community. Cheng is non-binary and they go by They/Them pronouns. Their goal is to express their thoughts about life, personal experiences, and the everyday lives of Asian Americans.

Thank You

Thank you everybody for the lovely reviews and ratings on my book, Dreams and Nightmares.

I just want to clarify that my pronouns are They/Them/Theirs. Some of you referred to me as She/Her in the comments, and I just want to let you know that I go by gender-neutral pronouns, They/Them/Theirs.

Still, thank you all so much for the ratings, reviews, and follows.

Glass Bones and Paper Skin by Nicole Cheng
“The four seasons represent one's mortality: Spring is birth, Summer is childhood, Autumn is adulthood, and, of course, Winter is death. Winter is the season I think about the most. The frigidness, the death of leaves, the snow reaping the fields.”

Glass Bones and Paper Skin by Nicole Cheng
“I get the feeling as if the streets were filled with quicksand. Every day, I had to be as meticulous as I could to prevent myself from sinking towards the bottom. Every day, I have to dodge every obstacle there was right in front of me. Every day is an obstacle for me. This has affected my everyday life.”
