Iesha S. Walker is a New Jersey native with a longstanding passion for reading and writing. Being an avid reader, she developed an insatiable lust for romance, suspense and adventure. Ms. Walker spent years writing, formatting, and editing content for others. On their advice and support, she decided it was time to come out of the shadows and release her own work. From this decision, her first book, Seasons was born (Published April 2017). Ms. Walker’s readers should prepare themselves for stories that will transport and enchant them into a world of passion, romance, and eroticism.

When the story is ready, it just comes to me in different scenes that I piece together like a puzzle. I could be driving in my car and a piece of new dialogue will come to mind. I grab my phone, turn on the recorder, and recite the dialogue. When I get home, I play the audio and type it up.

Try not to force yourself to write. If you've scheduled your writing and you're blocked, take a second to do something else like write a poem, write a blog post, reread the pages that are already written, develop your author's bio, or something that will allow you to relax a little. You don't want your writing experience to feel tense and like a job.(less)

“Remember this one thing baby girl, women don’t juggle…we diversify!”
Iesha S. Walker, Seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall…A Girl’s Got to Have Them All

“She was disappointed in herself for being the typical girl. She never wants to be that girl. That girl…is an emotional wreck. That girl…was an excuse for men who cheat and lose respect for women. That girl…is weak and needy. Troy was better than That Girl! Troy was stronger than That Girl.”
