C.G. Burke was born in a tiny cabin in the hills of Mendocino County. Since then she has grown much taller and older. Where height and age is a bonus, she has taught middle school, specifically 8th grade, for over 10 years and hasn’t run screaming from the building yet. Besides writing, she enjoys gardening, traveling with her husband, and exploring the Pacific Northwest, her home.

After a recurrence of breast cancer, Burke has decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a poor, starving artist with words as her medium.
