TEASER FROM MY FORTHCOMING BOOK
I am pleased to announce to you the release of the first teaser of my new collection of poems and prose which will be released in May 2018.
Since we're only a few months away from the book release, I needed to share this with you. I will also be doing a cover and the title reveal in the following weeks. Yay!
A PAWN
She dances in the sheets at night
pleasing souls until the crack of dawn,
treated as a slave, a simple pawn
she lives in the slums, all on her own.
She can't stop this vicious chain,
she tried and failed on and on;
no words left, nor pride or shame,
just self-control, no dreams of fame.
Laying down each night in a bed of lies
of dead hopes, dreams and silent cries,
being called different names, never her own
she's never been anything else but a pawn.

I am beyond excited to announce the release of my second printed book, BURDEN OF LOVE.
It’s finally here! Yay! It’s been a long journey to this point. You can get it now at Amazon, Barnes&Nobles, CreateSpace and other online stores. The e-book version will soon be available for Nook and Kindle.
BURDEN OF LOVE is a collection of seventy poems that aims to inspire women to change their lives, embrace change, to fight pain and move on. The poems capture the nuances of love and lead the reader through a journey of emotional reckoning and discovery of healing self-love, telling stories of love, heartbreak, and hope, revealing inner deepest thoughts and raw feelings of past and present loves. It is a book for those who are rediscovering hope and empower themselves, for the dreamers who never lost their hope for love.

maybe then I would stop missing you,
I'd be able to fly with you everywhere,
I'd be with you, follow you silently.
I would not mind you stepping over me,
I'd embrace the shape of your feet,
leaving a sweet kiss upon their soles
to make you feel loved once more.

Is there anyone that might be willing to be a beta reader for my book, Burden of Love?
My upcoming book is due for release in three weeks and I am looking for a group of twelve beta readers to help me out.
Burden of Love is a collection of 70 poems; It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, I'm sure.
So, if anyone is interested, send me a private message and you will get more details.
I’m looking for honest, critical feedback, which I’ll use to guide my final revision prior to publication.
All selected beta readers will receive a free digital copy of the manuscript by October 15th, along with an accompanying questionnaire. Completed questionnaires will be due by October 22nd, 2017.
All readers who complete the questionnaire by the deadline will be credited by name in the acknowledgments section of the final published book!
