Peter Strother is a journalist, writer and campaigning spiritual activist. Born in the Liverpool of the Beatles (he saw them live aged 8 in their home city !) and brought up on the Wirral, he worked on newspapers in Chester and Oxford before moving north to the inspiring mountains, islands and people of the Highlands of Scotland.
A member of the World Community for Christian Meditation and an associate of the Iona Community, Peter's firm conviction is that humanity's essentially loving nature is incompatible with the increasingly agitative and enslaving traits of modern-day capitalism, very often creating a psychological schism and alienation within us.
