Coming in 2018
I have been busy completing my next two projects and working on the second novel in the series following "When Shadows Linger." To those of you won a copy in the giveaways and/or added it to your bookshelf to read, I'm hoping to have the second one completed in the next few months.
On January 9th I will publish my second novelette and I think you will like it. Just to give you a hint, it's based on the story of my family coming to this country in the early 1900s, a story that many of us can relate to. So, stay tuned for news about the giveaway and more details.
And while I'm posting this, I have to mention "Envelopes of Hope." As I've mentioned before, the story was inspired by someone in my family who thanked me for not giving up on her. I'm not sure whether or not I revealed that the person is my daughter. I am beyond proud to report that she has been on the right track for almost 21 months. There is a lot to her story and recovery. Maybe a sequel would be a thought? Tell me what you think, either here or on my blog. mirikalblog.com

I am currently working on a sequel to "When Shadows Linger." It is my first try at a little suspense and I'm excited about it (so far!). I'll keep you posted.
Another project is historical fiction--longer than Rebecca. And of course--promoting my books is an endless task--but I learn something new everyday.
