Ruth grew up in Texas and New Mexico with her close-knit family. At an early age, reading became a passion of hers, and she devoured every book she could get her hands on. In high school and college, she sought out elective classes in English, Creative Writing, and Literature. Writing became a passion when she reached adulthood. You can find her poetry collection on Amazon. Bleeding Orchid chronicles her struggles with Crohn's disease and enables her to express her feelings about it. Although she has published only poetry, she is passionate about writing stories with heroic themes.
