દીપિકાબા ઝાલાવાડના ઉભરતા નવલકથાકાર છે, અક્ષરનાદ પરસર્જનયાત્રાની શરૂઆતથી તેમની કૃતિઓ પ્રસ્તુત થતી રહી છે. આ નવલકથામાંથી પસાર થઈએ તો ટૂંકી વાર્તા લખવાનો તેમનો અનુભવ કામે લાગ્યો છે એ દેખાઈ આવે. નવલકથાનું પૂર્વાર્ધનું એક પ્રકરણ પ્રસ્તુત છે.
