I co-founded the British Columbia Skeptics in 1987. For twenty years, I worked with scientists, philosophers and other free thinkers in the battle against pseudo-science and superstition. We took on graphology, homeopathy, yetis, sasquatches, and host of other silly beliefs over the years.

I have spent a great deal of time looking a biases, magical thinking, and cons, including organized religion and other de-humanizing belief systems.

I have been a atheist since I was 12, or roughly when the first George Carlin album came out.
