And one of the ways you stay disciplined is you stay on task. You set a word count you want to reach a day and you aim for it. How do you make sure you hit it? You outline. Some people would just tell you to write, that creativity is like a faucet, and you just need to turn it on (write) in order for it to start flowing. There is some truth in that. But if you know we're you're going in a story, if you know what the next scene is supposed to be, you can usually force something out of your head. And if you're still having problems, ask yourself questions about what your characters should be doing and need to do, and how it is they get there, and then you start brainstorming. Your answer will be found there. However, if you really can't get past writer's block, no matter what you do, then take a break, go for a walk, or think about another story or read a book, and your mind will work out the problem subconsciously.(less)

It's like this idea that I had for a story is now a reality and people can interact with it. And not only can they interact with it, but most of them usually like it. So, not only is it just cool to write and create, but people also like what I'm creating.(less)
