I will admit that it started as a purely commercial venture, but I ended up absolutely loving the whole process. I had such a sense of achievement when I had finished, it was incredibly rewarding. As someone who suffers with chronic health problems writing allows me to work around my energy levels which is a bonus. It was all great fun and I am already enjoying writing book 2 in the series.(less)
