After living most of my life in Pennsylvania working in technology, my wife and I moved to sunny Florida.

I've always been interested in science, world issues and beer. In 1971, Uncle Sam sent me to Tonkin Gulf on the USS Midway.

I programmed my first computer in 1966, then worked in the computer industry for my entire civilian career.

Yes, I changed the name I use on my books. My original author name was Mark A Pryor, but now I go by M Allen Pryor.

Why did I do it?

Because there are two authors of thriller novels named Mark Pryor who sell their books on Amazon. The other Mark Pryor is a talented and successful writer with a loyal reader base. When I first learned this, before I published my first book, I decided to use my middle
