Born near the oceanic coast of Brazil inside the dungeons of a castle, Rafael moved to the United States at the age of six. He spent his young years reading, cliff climbing, exploring abandoned mines, and drawing strategy maps to survive the oncoming zombie apocalypse. Obsessed with sharing his stories with others, he writes whenever he can and talks a bit too much about books. You can often find him gorging on sushi and trying to convince his wife to let him buy a dog.

Sometimes what you read in a chapter heading in book one as an interesting bit of world-building and lore will be explored in depth two books later or even visa-versa. It has been a blast to write so far! Book one and two are done and I'm hoping book three in the series will be finished this year!(less)

A quick case for why we should encourage more reading in the younger generation

So just a quick opinion blog:

As our technology grows, media and entertainment is more readily available on the fly, in your pocket, on demand. This causes us to enter a mindset of instant gratification and quick results. We have "less time" for dedicating ourselves to media-in this case books.
