Finding solace in poetry since the age of twelve, L. v. Jones finds expressing herself through poetry to be more than just an outlet—it’s her first love. In 1995, she joined the US Navy, where she traveled extensively for 11 years. She now resides in Oklahoma City with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not writing, you can find her spending time with family, working with the youth, or delving into a good book.
