I have been interviewing workplace Christians using a job design technique. Already my results show that we need knowledge and skills that we aren't being taught at church, college or seminary: how to build authentic relationships, how to practically live out servant leadership and how to practise spiritual disciplines for a foundation of intimacy with God.(less)

Firstly, there wasn't much practical wisdom for Christians who want to live out their faith in the workplace; and secondly, because I really want churches to have some practical ideas for how to equip Christians for the workplace. My first book aimed to break down the sacred-secular divide, my second book gives a picture of what it looks like for Christians and churches to promote an integrated life.(less)
