I've always had a need to be creative, to express myself in some form or another - usually in words. I've tried screenwriting, blog writing, songwriting and novel writing. Eye of the Timegate is my second novel (my first was a young adult novel). I've been an English High School teacher most of my adult life, and I gained a Graduate Diploma in Writing and recently attained a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies. I've also been an active member of the online Critters writers site, and am a member of Democracy At Work, Victoria, advocating for co-operatives.

The paperback version of Timegate can be found on Amazon or Barnes and Noble. The ebook's available at Amazon, Rakuten Kobo and also Smashwords and its affiliates.

But the writing books say you should keep to just one character per chapter. I don't agree with that (rules are meant to be broken some times) but I thought it would be helpful to compromise for the sake of those pesky readers who get annoyed with too much head hopping. I hope they, in turn, are willing to meet me halfway. Thanks for the questions.(less)

The Spinoff Novel Part Two

I’m making some slow progress on the new novel. The first thing I did was to start organising the chapters I already have, and to work out where the gaps are and rearrange everything. To help me do this I’ve started using Powerpoint, with each slide representing a chapter, with notes about the chapter, which I can move about depending on where I think it should go within the novel.
