Hit Me With Your Best Shot!

No, really, I want to know what your Spooky Month (aka October) reads are this year - and which books you'd recommend for a good scare!

One of mine that I read earlier this year is Diavola by Jennifer Marie Thorne. It's so eerie with just the right amount of oddball humor that I love. (Maybe it's a Jennifer thing?)

Anyway, it's such a fantastic book. I'd even recommend checking out the audiobook version since it is beautifully narrated.

Sprinting

So, I've been working on upping my word count, and holy moly, is it harder than I thought. I'm averaging about 200 words per every five minutes, but I constantly find myself stopping to think, revise, and plan.

Granted, it has been a lot easier since I actually diagrammed my rising action and all of the key action points.

But oh my, trying for 5,000 words in an hour... My autoimmune brain is getting its exercise, that's for sure.
