I am a poet, photographer and author. I write my emotions in my poetry. I feel they are better on page than on my sleeve. I have a work in progress I began in 2018. It's going to pull on heart strings. The only thing I'm willing to share is "She Was...", stick around for it. I discovered writing in 2017 during a depressive episode. I found peace in creating work that others could consume. I've come a long way and now that I'm free from depression my writing is never good enough. Like most writers I cringe at old work. Negative feedback

I received a one star review recently. It's humbling but not discouraging. As a writer you aren't going please everyone. You can't possibly do that. But the 1 star review gives balance to ratings. It provides a clear picture of what's in the book. 1 star is round but hey... a writer has to grow and this is one of those moments. But on to greener pastures....
