Hello, my darlings!

How are you all? Are you doing well? I certainly hope so!

It has certainly been a hot minute, hasn’t it? I know that I have been MIA for a while, but that is because I have been hard at work on Blessed Release, the third and final book in my Lightbringer trilogy. Between writer’s block and real life simply being too crazy for words, the writing of Blessed Release was nothing short of an uphill battle. It got to the point where I considered it a good day if I was able to write a single paragraph.

I’m not kidding.

I wish I was, but I’m not. As a result, this book is coming to you later than I originally anticipated (I had originally hoped for a November release). But, through sheer stubbornness, I managed to finish writing the book on November 30th (right down to the frakking wire, amiright?), and it is currently slated for a January 7th release.

Better late than never, right?

To that end, you certainly know what that means, don’t you? Of course, you do! I means that the ARC will soon be available to those who have the time to read and review the epic spiciness that is Blessed Release before it becomes available to all. So, be sure to be following me on Booksprout, if you’re not already doing so, my darlings!

What do I have planned as my next writing project now that that trilogy is wrapped up? Honestly?

A NAP!!

I kid, of course, but I will be taking a small break to recharge my batteries. This trilogy (especially book 3) took a LOT out of me). After my period of rest, I honestly don’t know what my next project will be. I for sure have one more book planned for my Mystical Mates series, and I have at least five more books planned for my Ballads of Cadarnle series. I also have plans for a new PNR series that will be a spin-off of Mystic Mates, so it will really all depend on which direction my muse decides to pull me.

In the meanwhile, I will be curled up under a blankie while I wait for Blessed Release to come back from the editors. Until next time…

Oh, such news I have for you. SUCH news!

Not only is it release day for Holy Union, but…as you undoubtedly noticed from the picture above, I have new covers to share with you! That’s right, both Sacred Embrace and Holy Union got a face-lift, and are now the proud bearers of brand-new covers! So…here we go!

Omigosh, aren’t they just awesome! I can’t even with them!

The discrete covers for paperbacks will remain the same, but these new covers will be proudly displayed in your Kindle, as well as on the paperbacks you order without a discrete cover. If you pre-ordered Holy Union on Kindle, the change should happen later today (depending on how quickly Amazon pushes it through). Because it was in pre-order, we were unfortunately not able to make the change until today. To get the new cover for Sacred Embrace (if you already bought it), all you have to do is sync your Kindle library, and the cover will update

Isn’t it just gorgeous? I don’t know about you, but I think it’s much better than the original. I am seriously happy that the creative team over at Scarlet Lantern decided to revamp the original cover because they thought that it could be better.

Because, guess what? They were right!

I mean, the original cover was nice, and it got the job done, but this one is just so much better! It just seems more dynamic and pleasing to the eye…and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Seriously, I am in love!

Are you getting excited, my darlings? September 10th is right around the corner! Incidentally, in what I am calling the happiest of coincidences, Sacred Embrace releases on the same day that season 6 of Lucifer airs on Netflix.

I am beyond excited to share this start of my trilogy with you! As I mentioned in an earlier post, this trilogy has been percolating inside my brain for a looooong time. The first inkling of this trilogy sprouted up in my brain back when I was in college, but I always pushed it aside because I couldn’t quite figure out how to make it work. It kept popping up in my head over the years, and I would tinker with it a little before pushing it aside again until I finally decided to combine it with another idea that kept vying for my attention (that I also just couldn’t get quite right).

After that, the plot came together as if by magic!

If you have the time to read the ARC, but are on the fence because it’s book 1 in a trilogy, have no fear. There is NO cliffhanger. Without giving away any spoilers, I can safely promise you that neither books 1 nor 2 end on cliffhangers.

As usual, I understand that life has a nasty way of getting in the way sometimes (believe me, I know that), but please do try to get your reviews in as close to September 10th as possible. While I say that all my books are my babies, this trilogy is the baby I’ve been nurturing the longest, so I would really like it to have as strong a start as possible.
