Happy to say that my newest novel has been completed and is in the editorial process now. I will be posting information and tease shots of the cover as time moves forward. The Utica Homecoming has came and went. I wanted to try and see how the novel would be received at a home town affair and I felt it went pretty well. Even if they didn't purchased a novel, it was nice to just talk about it in general. People found it interesting and close to reality. I even had one person come up to me who was at the signing I had at the library the previous January asking about Vol. 2 and how the process is going. So I am peaking some interest and return readers which is always good thing. So if you enjoy what you read and I'm just not meaning me but anything you read. Pass on what you enjoy and you might let someone else enjoy something otherwise they would have missed out on.

I have been writing pages in the next book in the Conflict Within Series and also a new project that is unrelated. So excited to see these two when they are done and the reaction to them. They are still a little ways from being complete and one is looking at a title change. More news to come soon.

The past year has brought a lot of new things into my life. For one I've got the addition of two great foster kids that take up a lot of time and are a joy to have around. A new job, I worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital for 8 years but after a few meetings with management I knew it was time and now I've about come back full circle to were my first job in security was when I was in college and worked as a student worker and now I'm back as a full time employee and then started to take classes again to work towards my BA. Now with my new activities has taken some toll on my writing but I'm still doing it as I am working on book II of the Conflict Within series. On thing that was interesting though about the book this year. One signing was canceled because they thought people would protest and be angered by the book, but in two days they changed their mind and held the event anyways. Its good to have people think and look at things from different points of view.

On August 18th I will be at the Half Price Book Store in Westerville Ohio from 1 PM to 3 PM meeting people and signing books.

My next scheduled event in Johnstown Ohio as I will be at the Johnstown Sportsmen Club for Swapper's Day and the event will be during the Labor Day Weekend, September 1st through 3rd.
