The House on Rectory Lane

My new book cover has been uploaded and will be available the beginning of December.
Heres the blurb.

Blurb for the house on Rectory Lane.
Jake and Kate live in Camden, London and have had enough of the hassle with parking, overbooked restaurants and burglaries.
After an altercation with a stranger who pulls a knife on Jake, they take their son Sean, and move to a house in the woods.
It’s their dream home, or so they think.
People in the village warn them they shouldn’t have come.
Neighbours are over friendly and who was the face at the window Kate saw late at night?
They find a tape hidden in the loft of their new house, a home made video recording of the previous family, the Prescotts.
What they view, chills them to the bone.
They realise that the family living there before them have disappeared and now, they could be next......Stuart James

Turn The Other Way

I'm delighted to announce that I have a new scary psychological thriller coming out on 8th Feb 2019.
It's available to pre-order now on Amazon for 99p in the UK or $1.27 in the US.

Sometimes revenge is the deadliest game of all.

A derelict farmhouse in the Essex countryside.
A deranged family.
Innocent victims being picked at random.
If you're chosen, Turn The Other Way.

Simon Bairstow is a top London Surgeon. He's performed dozens of life-saving operations. But something goes horribly wrong. The machine Eve Johnson is attached to flatlines, and suddenly her parent's world has collapsed.
They're hell bent on revenge, someone to answer for the horrific error that's been made.

Noah and Jess are driving on a busy dual carriageway and get stuck in traffic. They hear thumping coming from the back doors of the transit van in front of them. When Noah steps out onto the road, he hears muffled screams. He opens the back doors and what he sees shocks him to the core.
The van pulls off, spilling Noah onto the road.
Ignoring his wife's plea to leave it, he hits the accelerator in pursuit of the van.

Chloe's parents are missing. She hasn't seen them since they left the party in Hampstead on Friday night. She needs answers, deciding to take matters into her own hands.

A serial killer is stalking the streets of Islington in North London late at night leaving his victims in a horrific way.
The press have dubbed him The Angel Attacker.

A terrifying tale of revenge with a twist that will hit you like a sledgehammer. (less)

Apartment Six

Just to let you all know, as well as Turn The Other Way coming on 8th February, I have a new psychological thriller coming out around August called, Apartment Six.
It tells the story of Meagan, a five-year-old child calling the emergency services as her mother has been viciously attacked and murdered by her father.
We hear the heartbreaking dialogue between Meagan as a child and the call handler.
We then go to the present time, Meagan, now herself the victim and in an abusive relationship. Her husband beats her on a regular basis and is cruel beyond belief.
She wants out but doesn’t have the courage to leave her husband.
While commuting to work, she meets Oliver, a simple guy who likes routine and is on the rebound after his girlfriend walks out.
They strike up a relationship, meeting daily on the way to work and when Meagan’s husband goes to Spain for a few days, Meagan and Oliver decide to go for a drink and hatch a plan.
Meagan asks Oliver to help and convinces him to kill her husband, not what he had in mind.
They’re sure it’s the only way for Meagan and Oliver to be together, until he breaks into the wrong apartment, killing the wrong guy.

Review.

Well i am so very chuffed to get my first reviews of my new scary psychological thriller, Turn The other Way.
This is a favourite of mine and the goodreads reviewer has compared it to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and American Psycho.

Heres the amazing review below.

Review time!! Turn the other way by Stuart James. 5/5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I absolutely loved this book. It was a crazy ride!! Kept me up most of the night. If you like horror / thrillers this one is for you. This story will stay with me for a long time and that ending was mind blowing!! This is a brilliant chilling story with vibes of Texas chainsaw massacre and American Pshyco. I highly recommend this book!!!

Review.

I absolutely love when a blogger/reviewer asks for an arc copy of my new thriller.
here is what he said below.
I can't be happier.
He has posted it under the book.
Available 8th February.

What a psychological horror show! I haven't felt physically frightened reading a book as much as I did this one. Twisted, twisted, twisted but in a fun to read way. The freakshow family, the white van, and the unsuspecting victims made this one hell of a ride. I recommend this fraught, spine tingling thriller to anyone with a strong heart who loves to be scared shitless.
Thank you Stuart James for the advance readers ebook to review and enjoy.
