The one constant in my life has been laundry. I read lots of non-fiction looking for real-life events that might inspire shiny, new stories. I write essays and poetry that I don't like calling poetry. Before it gets too hot in the afternoons, I write screenplays. If I'm not writing, I'm usually running or thinking about my place in life, or I'm being a mother and wondering if I'm failing at that venture, or I'm talking with like-minded friends about our messes and what we think about God, or I'm doing all of this while wondering how I'm going to write about it.
