S.A. Chapman is the mastermind behind Epics of Existentia and the architect of the Strategic Procrastination and Stealthwork Model (SPASM)—a revolutionary framework that redefines productivity, workplace survival, and the fine art of looking busy while doing as little as possible. As both a world-builder and a workplace strategist, Chapman’s works seamlessly blend deep, immersive storytelling with biting corporate satire and philosophical deconstruction.

With books like The Hand That Cut the Stone, Acts of the Sojourner, and Acts of the Twin: Master and Ward, Chapman explores the vast realms of Existentia, where the clash of order and chaos mirrors the very real power struggles of the modern professional landscape. Meanwhile, SPASM exposes t

DON'T DO IT! IT'S A TRAP!

If you don't heed these words and proceed otherwise, because you feel that beyond the trap lies something great - then you are a writer.

Therein lies my first piece of advice - don't always listen to the advice of others. Do what you want, follow your instincts - but always be ready to bear the consequence of your actions. Don't shove the less-fortunate out of the way in the pursuit of your own endeavours.

If you proceed to write for fame, glory or accolade - you may be a writer, but you are most likely doomed to failure.

If you proceed for the sake of creating something that may or may not provide entertainment or knowledge, then you will never fail.

Lastly - don't you dare get someone else to write you work, then take the credit (ghostwriting). If you do, you are a fake and a travesty to all that an author is and should be. (less)

I tell them to go for a walk... Just kidding.

As I have a full-time job and write as a side-venture, I don't really see/feel such a thing as writer's block. I have no writing deadline or requirement to write. I either write, or I don't. When I become inspired, I write something.

This is probably the main reason it has taken me seven years to finish one book.

I’m posting drafts on Wattpad

Over the next few days, chapters from a few of the books I'm writing will be up on Wattpad.

By doing so and getting some feedback, I can prioritize which ones to focus on and wrap up!
As of the now; on Wattpad, you can read the first chapter to a parallel novel to Exhumation - the saga of a character you briefly met in Exhumation, but of which little is known!

Let me know what you think and if you Read more of this blog post »
