I just heard about the passing of David Hagberg at the age of 76. While it’s easy to be sad at a time like this, we should more-so be grateful that he lived and be very happy that, while we no longer have him, we will always have his books. I have enjoyed each work of his that I have already read and will certainly be getting to the others on my to read shelf.

Okay, I get it, it's just a catchy title for someone who reads these digital galley copies through NetGalley, but I think most of us have wished we could get paid to read.

It has long been said that "you are your own worst critic". I think that authors can be the best critics for other authors. As those have "been there" and "done that", we can lend our own unique firsthand perspective to helping someone through their own journey to literary excellence.
