It's happening!
Hey guys!
This is my first blog on Goodreads! (Yay!), it may be my first of many or my last. We will see!
I'm deciding to start blogging on here, because well my website where all of my blogs are is still inactive and unpublished. I am still working on the website and trying to sort it all out, hopefully, soon i'll have it up and running, fingers crossed!
Anyway, let's get back to why i'm writing this blog.
On Monday, i sent through my final draft for my manuscript to a formatting service - No, im not going to talk about formatting or i'll pull my hair out and smack my face on my desk - and when I pressed send? I was overloaded with emotions. I cried and it was like saying goodbye to my baby yet i was so happy and pleased that i've finally finished it, and it'll come back ready for release. Shit!
So many emotions washed over me, and now I'm sitting around spinning in my chair, waiting for that E-Mail to say it's done and ready... and then...
I can start pre-orders and announce the release date...incoming heart-attack!
THIS IS INSANE GUYS.
I've had this idea in my head raising havoc since 2008. It's evolved and changed so much and now it's semi-complete (i say semi because it's more than one book :P)
This entire journey has been a rollercoaster. it's been so challenging, fulfilling, fun and maddening, but hell i can't wait to go through it all again! don't we just love torture? it's not just for our beloved characters ;)
I've dreamt of the day i'd become an author, and it just brightens my face every time i think of it. Author. I'll be published author soon, and for once in my life, i'm actually fucking proud of myself and that's truly saying something.
I think i'll end this here, just... waiting for that format and more news to come soon! :)
