Well today is the day. My second book; Walk Sleep Repeat has just gone live and the nerves have hit. It's about my hike across the stunning West Highland Way in Scotland. It was a very different experience to write this one when I compare it with my first book. For a start I never had any idea that I'd even publish the first one whilst I was writing it. Then there's the different characters and lengths of the hikes in question. If the first book was 'idiot goes on life changing adventure' then the extra challenge of writing this one is that it was more like 'idiot who likes hiking goes on hike'. That being said (and suddenly conscious that I'm not selling this very well), it is of course no ordinary hike. The West Highland Way is one of the most beautiful hikes in the world and my greatest hope for the book is that I in someway do the thing justice. Rannoch Moor in particular is a place like no other I've experienced. If you're lovely enough to do me the honour of reading it then I really hope you enjoy it.
