The characters themselves, particularly Andrea and Ayla, are what inspired me to write this book, so I knew them pretty well before I even began drafting. However, in revisions I spent a lot of time trying to make Andrea's motivations clear. I wanted to explore and explain why she stayed in such a dangerous situation and how she felt her options were so limited. Writing the scenes with Judd and Donovan were certainly the most difficult on an emotional level. (less)

Hello, I’m writing to you to ask you, why did brick and Andrea not get together before the book ended. Of course I loved the ending but come on lol. Also, where did you attend high school? I attend Notre Dame Academy Toledo Ohio and graduate as 2025, I’m a sophomore as of march 3, 23.

Andrea has a lot on her plate when the book ends, but there are certainly strong feelings between her and Brick so maybe if I write sequel I'll explore them further... :) And yes, I am a fellow Eagle.
