My first post that isn't a first chapter
It's 7am and I should be working on my new book, This Isn't Fun Anymore, but here I am trying to write yet another blog on Goodreads.
Why?
I dunno, maybe it's a good excuse for avoiding the hard work of coming up with a new chapter. Maybe it's so that at the end of the day I can say I wrote SOMETHING. Maybe it's a way to connect with more people or maybe I don't know what the heck I'm doing and just exercising my fingers.
Probably all of them.
I like the idea of connecting with more readers and writers and this might be the way.
And if not, then at least I'll have created something today that allows me to sleep well tonight. I kid, I kid. I'll still be awake at 3am worrying about everything and trying to remember that girl's name I met in first grade who had the pretty pigtails.
