Refreshing some covers and a new novel coming soon!
Haven’t blogged for a while since I’ve been busy working on a bunch of stuff. Besides creating commercials for PlaymatesToys, Godzilla x Kong, the New Empire, I’m putting the finishing touches on my fifth Djinn and Tonnick novel, the Misguided Mage. I’m also refreshing all of the Alien Road Kill covers, because… why not?
So, stay tuned for more announcements as I get back on the blogging horse!

Xenobots-the natural evolution of "Sawbonites"
While this is a purely fictional concept, it's not as far-fetched as it might seem. According to the NY Times, Xenobots, single cell virtual creatures crafted in the lab from organic sources, can be engineered to perform specific tasks.
If this type of experimentation continues, we might be only decades away from real Sawbonites: Medical nano-bots that can be called upon to do surgeries, combat disease, and perform other medical tasks—all autonomously!
These Xenobots might be able to reconstruct damaged DNA or, as JB's Sawbonites did, use a person's DNA as a map to perform reconstructive medical procedures.

While I'm staying at home, as required, I'm working on the 4th "Djinn and Tonnick Murder Mystery."
Haven't decided whether to expand the Alien Roadkill Universe beyond book 6 as of yet. If you feel strongly about that, feel free to drop me a line!
In the meantime, stay safe and practice good hygiene!

Very excited!
Excited to be close to completion on my latest addition to the Djinn and Tonnick Mystery Series. Haven't decided on a title yet... But, as always, there's plenty of mayhem, murder, and supernatural overtones. Set in Napa Valley, California there's plenty of wine too!
The history of Napa is historically rich in both the production of wines, and like much of Northern California in the late 1800's, blemished by the wildly racist exploitation of immigrant labor.
All of this will be baked into the cake, along with a dash of ancient Greek mythology and a pinch of modern social media. A recipe that will truly test the meddle of our favorite detective while he seeks to address his precarious relationship with Delinda Djinn.
On a completely unrelated note, I'd like to tell you about my recent experience with a consumer electronics company, Nakamichi. After spending years as an audio professional, I'm fairly jaded when it comes to any kind of consumer gear. Having said that, I'm extremely impressed by Nak's 9.2 soundbar system, which I recently purchased on Amazon to replace my traditional 7.2 receiver/speaker setup. Great sound, but more than that, their outstanding customer service is far beyond what I've experienced from any other vendor—period. Now my only problem is figuring out what to do with my old subwoofers and 7 mirage speakers! Ebay anyone?
So, there you are. Although I'm busy writing and enjoying my new audio toy, I've managed to find time to begin an Instagram account. You can follow me (I don't post too often) #steveazuckerman.
That's all for now. Look for the new book in January of 2020!
