When Mackenzie Stuart moved to an isolated island off the coast of the Scottish Outer Hebrides, he hoped Starcrest would be a good place for him to recover from the psychological repercussions of a painful divorce.

For a while, it is perfect for his needs. Peaceful, quiet and far away from his troubles. However, one day he glimpses what he assumes is a naked toddler in the woods. Fearing for the child, he follows, only to find it has vanished. Mack informs the authorities and a search and rescue mission begins.

This is the start of events which will eventually threaten Mack’s life. Starcrest Island holds a deadly secret. One which Mack is about to discover.
