No to book marketers

I received many requests from suspicious profiles. They mark my books with 5- stars randomly. I know these are not real readers, I check my report daily. Those who do such activities I will block. I don't need your fake ratings and I don't need your services.

A dream about White rabbit

Discovering she has a brain tumor, Alex begins to reveal another side of herself. Having committed a crime, Alex wants nothing more than to forget her old life and run away. Meeting a rich businessman at the beach, Alex finds the opportunity she has been seeking and accepts an offer from him which will change her life completely.
Finding herself at a monastery in Cornwall, a place notorious for sinister secrets and child sacrifice, Alex will only have two choices – to be the hunter or the prey.

A review: Kristina goes from strength to strength, and now -this decent dark chiller employs her skills as an established writer. The characters are well drawn out and the plot is short and direct, laced with Ms Gallo’s unique stylings. This would make a great anthology horror episode on TV.
I read over two days and was hooked from start to finish, a great read and it’s wonderful to see Kristina enter this genre – it suits her very well. Recommended. A Dream About White Rabbit A Horror Suspense Novella by Kristina Gallo

Thanks for 200 ratings, but..

I notice some people are rating books randomly, just to spoil someone's rating. I know those people did not read a book, otherwise, they would give an explanation for their reviews.
Be aware, as much you wish to ruin someone's reputation and sales, if the book is good, it will reach the audience.
Some profiles are here just to mark books with one or two stars. You are not experts, you are trolls.
If you wish to give a negative review, do it. Just, be professional, tell what you don't like.
The same is for people who are giving five stars around. Yes, we authors love compliments, but we want proof that you read the book.
Thanks for my 200 ratings, I appreciate your time.

You should avoid boosting followers

Nowadays many people wish to be popular. Everyone sees a chance to become an influencer, celebrity, and it takes a lot of followers.

How to get a proper number of followers?

How to get a thousand, million people to follow you?

Why would they follow you?

These are questions that need an answer. One of the answers is to pay your followers with boosting. Many applications offer this for money, and people will spam your inbox on social media to get you.

What you need to know, if you pay your followers, you will get it, but it is not permanent.

The algorithm in Instagram will delete your followers. You might lose your account.

People can accuse you of spam if you offer them a follower boost.

Those followers are not people for interaction, they are numbers. Don't expect comments and sharing from them.

Having a lot of followers with some tools is an illusion. It doesn't mean real people follow you and recognize your talent. It means you bought attention and affection.

Do you remember when you wanted to have a big birthday party but some friends did not come?

Did you invite those friends or force them to come? For sure not, you had pride.

Here is the same way, if you can't gain real followers, be happy with those who are here.

It is great to have a big community, but if you have for example 4000 friends on Facebook and nobody notice that you have a new book, it is useless to deal with it.

So, what to do to increase your followers' number?

Be original. People hate copies and if you repeat something that is already seen they will not notice you.

Be spontaneous. Don't yell, follow me, or why you unfollow me. People have a choice.

Don't send private messages the first minute someone follows you. Don't offer your music, creation, or book to people you don't know good. At least, offer it public, not private because you are beggaring in this case.

Show gratitude. If someone bought your book or clothes, if someone is recommending your work, talk to them, and say thanks.

Don't cross a line between private and public. Everyone doesn't need to know about your conflict.

If you want to sell your books, collaborate, but don't annoy people

This is for my all friends on Goodreads. I noticed a bunch of invitations for groups, events, even messages about books, from people who are on my list and I don't know anything about them. If you invite me to your group, and I reject your request, this is my final NO. If you repeat it again, I will block you and flag you. This is not how professionals work. Remember what would Stephen King do? He would not bother people, that is sure.
Before you send a request to me, here are few rules:
My site is not a dating site. Don't ask me private questions and don't leave racy comments in my photos.
My site is not a charity. Don't ask me to purchase your stuff.
My site is not your promotional tool. If you want a promotion, pay for it in sites that are organized for that.
I don't need book recommendations from people I don't know. If I want to read something, I will choose a book.

I say this with good intention. I witnessed how people who treated others like that are rejected, blocked, and their books are not selling.
If you want to sell your books, collaborate with others, connect with authors, but don't force people. You need to see your common interests, then make a deal.
Thanks to authors who rated and reviewed my books. I appreciate you.
