ROMAN FESTIVAL KIT

The Roman Festival Kit, a PDF full of activities that can be used as a launching point for classroom learning or for a party at home, is now available on The World of Agartha website from the Parents/Teachers link. This Kit includes an activity that explains Roman mosaics and has a template that allows fans to create their own mosaic design, an activity to learn Roman numerals, a crossword puzzle, mythology matching activity, and word search. It's a great way to have some fun and learn more about some of the historical events that are part of the series. Our intent is to continue adding more activities over time that will support parents and teachers in making the exploration of history fun! In fact, we have a really fun poster in the works that will include QR scan codes like the ones that exist in the books. It will give users an opportunity to explore Ancient Rome like never before and will be perfect for a classroom or bedroom. You'll be surprised at how much fun history can be! Keep your eyes right here on our blog so you don't miss out on the fun stuff we've got planned!

COLLIDING CHARIOTS MINI-GAME

Buckle up! We're only a couple of months from adding mini-games to the Xperience Books app. We're just waiting on the next app release to be published. You may have already seen some snippets from our first mini-game Colliding Chariots. Designed to be accessed from the scan code at the end of the chapter where Tanner watches a chariot race, you'll have fun seeing how long you can keep all the chariots from colliding. I think my personal record, while I've been testing the app, is 13 seconds. See if you can beat my record (just an FYI, I'm a horrible video game player so it's nice to be the first one to test the games - might just be the only time I ever end up with a high score).
You might remember when the spacecraft Makayla is in gets attacked by the Anatokians in Cathedral of Time. Well, Anatokian Attack is waiting in the wings and will most likely be our second mini-game. Stay right here to make sure you get the news on the latest updates to our fantasy world and new additions to the app.

AWARD WINNING CITY OF DELFI

Congratulations to Jalen Jacobsen for winning second place in the illustration contest at BYU-I. His illustration of the fantasy city of Delfi from The World of Agartha series captures the description of the city mentioned in Cathedral of Time. The book describes the city as Steampunk meets Oz, meets Star Wars. Jalen did an excellent job of capturing the essence of the city. We're working together with Jalen to make the spaceships in the illustration available for 3D printing in your own home. We've been testing 3D printed models and they're going to be awesome! We plan to make the 3D models available for purchase in the Xperience Books app, and eventually on The World of Agartha website as well. You're also going to see models from this image showing up as augmented reality objects in the app. Stay tuned as we continue to expand the media associated with the books - and don't forget to send us your Fan Art so we can see how you imagine the beasts, beings, buildings, etc. of our World.

VIRTUAL REALITY TIP

We're super excited to see many of our readers are using the Xperience Books app to access all of the bonus content we've added into The World of Agartha series. We hope you're having fun! We wanted to share a quick tip on using the Virtual Reality Xperiences. When a Virtual Reality Xperience is associated with a QR code, you'll see the box with a door icon (pictured above) show on the Xperience screen of your device. When you tap the icon, you'll be prompted "Tap to place AR". This will place a 3D door in your world. In order to access the full 360-degree Virtual Reality Xperience, you'll need to walk toward the door until you have walked through it. Once you walk through the door, you'll see the full Virtual Reality. If you turn around and walk back out through the door you'll be back in your Actual Reality world. Have fun exploring the Virtual Reality Xperiences we've added to the book. We hope it will make you feel like your experiencing the fantasy world we've created.

PROGRESS ON ALDAR ROK

Aldar Rok, book three in The World of Agartha series is progressing well. The edits have come back from the editor, and I have to say it's my favorite book in the series so far. We've already received some of the artwork back from the character artist and have some of the architectural components for some of the augmented reality buildings, etc. that will be accessible from the Xperience Books app. We've set a release date for September 15, 2023. We'll be sending updates to our newsletter subscribers on pre-order options, signed book options, etc. Make sure you subscribe to the newsletter so you can be up-to-date on the latest! If you want to see some of the characters we'll be featuring in book three, follow the "Series Cast of Characters" links on the home page of our website and look for any characters you haven't read about in books one and two. That will give you some hints on where we're heading with book three.
