I Should Be Writing
I had a very productive writing day Wednesday, despite feeling as though I might be sick. Thursday was no feeling about it, so I mostly sat in bed too foggy to think too much about anything at all. Today I'm better, leastways for thinking, and yet I still have not written. I can see outside the first hints of the golden hour, and I want snatch up my camera and shoot something spectacular. Then, I realize it is cold out there, which, in turn, makes me realize how old, by action if not by age, I've become.

Hello, Again
Again? you ask. Yes, again—even if you don’t realize it. This is the second time I’m writing this post. The first (which I probably shouldn’t tell you was far more clever, insightful, and life changing) fell in-between the cracks between here and there, or so I’m told. Apparently, the backups didn’t account for the database… and other technical grumblings. So, while the graphics and other pretty things are safely archived, all the content is gone; that’s right, we Andy Dwyered the website, and while that might look charming on Chris Pratt, it makes for a pretty lousy site.
So… hello, again! I am Rowan Faraday, author of The Road to Nowhere, various short stories, and loads of other web and print content (from my other life) that isn’t the slightest bit interesting or worth listing. I will be the primary voice around here and on the Twitter account (@RowanFaraday); I make no promises about other social media outlets.
