Current Project

Hey everyone,

Long time no post! In case you only follow me on Goodreads, I'm currently working on my first detective novel. It's set in one of my favorite time periods: the 1940s. However, it's not so much a mystery; it's more about my protagonist and what happens when he gets tangled in the web of an up-and-coming mobster.

I'm hoping to have the first draft done by year's end as well.

Umbra

Hey guys,

It's been awhile since I posted anything on my Goodreads blog, so I just wanted to post an update regarding the final installment in The Perfect Circle Trilogy .

Umbra has been completed. . .well, the first draft. I'm currently in the editing phase which will take months, but I'm hopeful that I can get the book completely finished and released by early Spring 2021!

I'm crazy excited to get this book out to the world because it means everyone will finally know how the series ends. It's weird being the only one who knows what will happen to certain characters. I kinda like it, but I also kinda don't.

Anyways, once this book is published, I will be shifting my writing focus toward a 1940s crime novel I've been working on for about two years now. So far that unnamed novel is 60k words or so, but it's nowhere near done and needs lots of editing. Once I finish that, I will be throwing my hat back into the literary agency ring in attempts to land an agent to help me publish it. While I like the perks of self-publishing, marketing has always been a weak point of mine. Having an experienced agent get my work out to the world would be the best thing ever, but if that doesn't work out, I'll keep my head down and keep doing what I do. After all, what matters most is writing. As long as I get to do that, I'll be happy.

I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll do my best to get Umbra in your hands as soon as possible!

Happy reading,

A.C.

I hope you're ready.

Year One

It's been one year since Nimbus came out! I can't believe it. I just want to say thanks to everyone who has read and enjoyed (or even disliked) it! The fact that anyone besides myself and my wife has read something I wrote is still surreal to me.

I owe everything to everyone who has given this book a chance, and I hope I don't let you down with the sequel, Halcyon, which will be releasing in late Spring/early Summer of 2019!

Nimbus

This is less of a real, in-depth blog post, but more of a 'thank you' sort of post. First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who entered my Goodreads giveaway; to see over 400 people shelve my book as to-read was a great feeling. Heck, it still is!

I hope everyone who has read, is reading, or plans to read Nimbus enjoys it. I put a lot into that novel, and I can't wait to see all the feedback regarding it. Even if it doesn't get the praise of Harry Potter and the like, you still won't be able to wipe this grin off my face.

Once again, thanks to everyone for reading my book. I hope you stay tuned with my page because there's more to come! I'm sure my future blog posts will be more exciting, as I talk about more exciting things or maybe share lines from my upcoming novel, Halcyon.
