I was born, almost before the dawn of time itself, in Blackburn, England, a little visited corner of the world once made briefly and mysteriously famous in a song by the Beatles. After graduating from Lancaster University in 1971 I worked in IT for longer than I now care to remember. Once retired from the fray I found, naturally enough, that I had more time to try the writing thing. Apocalypse Sundae (2017), a desperate foray into humorous fiction, is my first published work. I hope to follow it up with much more.
