Dineo Dowd was born and raised in South Africa, now based in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a stay outside mom and a wife. She was motivated by her adventure Daughter to write children's picture books dedicated to nature. She spends all her summer camping and hiking. After she became a mom in 2015, she couldn't find the children's picture books about families hiking with kids, that's when she started writing ''Adventure Day'' to motivate little kids to spend time outside exploring nature, her goal is to write more culture diverse outdoor children's book in the next coming five years. ...more
