I'm new to Goodreads so I'll just have to wing it as far as posts are concerned. Just last year I self published my novel Nothing But Memories. I had already published several non-fiction titles with major publishers so I had very little experience of marketing. I'd left that to the publishers in the past. I now realize it's a major part of the writing process and I'm not very good at it. I did a facebook campaign but spent very little money and therefore got very little result. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about marketing and I intend to employ it when I launch the follow up to Nothing shortly. I would be grateful to receive any advice from Goodreads authors as to what their experience has been with various marketing initiatives. I will be happy to post my own experiences when I have some.
