Dr. Rodrigue Tremblay is a Canadian-born economist, humanist and political figure who teaches at the University of Montreal. Professor Tremblay has a B.A. from Laval University (1961), a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Montreal (1963), an M.A. in Economics from Stanford University (1965) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University (1968). He is emeritus professor since 2002. Among other organizations, Dr. Tremblay is a former president of the North American Economics and Finance Association.
